Project Overview

GHORA GHURI is a full-stack travel and tourism platform designed to help travelers discover Bangladesh through curated tour packages, destination guides, regional travel information, and booking enquiries.

The platform focuses on making Bangladesh travel easier to explore by organizing destinations across all eight divisions and providing dedicated experiences for beaches, hills, heritage locations, rivers, cities, and eco-tourism.

My Role

Full-Stack Developer & UI/UX Designer

I independently handled the complete project, including UI/UX design, frontend development, backend development, data structure, interactive functionality, responsive implementation, testing, and deployment.

Destination Discovery

The platform organizes Bangladesh travel information by division, district, and travel type.

Visitors can explore destinations across the country's eight divisions and discover different types of travel experiences including beach, heritage, eco-tourism, hill, river, and city destinations.

Tour Packages

The website presents curated tour packages with information about destinations, duration, pricing, travel arrangements, guides, transport, accommodation, and permits where applicable.

Visitors can explore fixed-departure group tours as well as private versions of selected routes.

Sundarbans Experience

A dedicated section focuses on Sundarbans travel, including cruise routes, vessel options, guide support, permits, duration options, food arrangements, and weather-related travel policies.

The platform presents the Sundarbans experience as a structured travel product rather than simply an informational destination page.

Search & Booking Experience

The website provides a travel discovery interface where visitors can select a destination, division, start date, and number of travellers.

Visitors can then search destinations or submit a request for a customized trip.

The booking enquiry experience is designed to collect the information needed to prepare a day-by-day travel plan.

Content & Travel Journal

The platform includes a journal section containing travel notes, seasonal guides, permit information, and regional travel information.

This content structure helps provide visitors with useful information while also expanding the destination discovery experience.

Design Approach

The interface was designed around a modern editorial travel aesthetic, combining large destination imagery, strong typography, structured information sections, travel cards, clear calls to action, and responsive layouts.

The design prioritizes destination discovery while keeping important travel information and booking actions accessible throughout the experience.

Responsive Experience

The platform was designed to work across desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes.

The layouts, destination cards, search interfaces, navigation, and booking interactions adapt to different screen sizes to provide a consistent experience.

Technical Implementation

The project combines a customer-facing travel interface with structured destination and tour information.

The platform includes interactive search and filtering interfaces, destination and package structures, enquiry functionality, content sections, and supporting customer-service pages.

Project Highlights

GHORA GHURI demonstrates my ability to build a complete full-stack web application around a real-world business concept.

Instead of creating only a static tourism website, I developed a platform structure that combines destination discovery, tour packages, travel content, booking enquiries, customer information, and regional tourism data into one integrated experience.
